Senior Scene® | January Issue
Letter from the
Publisher
Happy New Year to all of our Senior Scene readers. Hope you all had a wonderful & joyous Holiday season. We have so much to be thankful for. It’s easy to forget how lucky we are, when we have our family & friends around us & live in such a beautiful area. Maybe you took the time & effort to share with someone less fortunate this Holiday season. & it’s still not too late!
Speaking of our area, maybe some of you were able to enjoy some of the Holiday events that help to make the season so special. Like the Festival of Lights at Wickham Park or Christmas in Downtown Melbourne. Some of the wonderful experiences we love every year are looking at all the decorations & lights on so many houses or visiting Walt Disney World with all of its decorations. We had the opportunity to see the life sized gingerbread house at the Disney Grand Floridian resort again this year.
There are always other fun diversions, such as seeing the multitude of performances at our local theatre groups & at the King Center.
I want to thank all of the staff, contractors & volunteers that have helped to make 2016 such an enjoyable & successful year for Senior Scene Magazine here in Brevard County. We especially thank all of our readers & supporters for welcoming us into your Comm.. Finally, we want to thank all those local artists & authors that have contributed so much for our readers’ enjoyment. & let’s not forget our loyal advertisers, who make all this possible. Please support them any opportunity you get.
So let’s make those resolutions & enjoy the New Year (or maybe just one or the other).
See you next month.
