The NFL has had a season, the Super Bowl made it on the calendar. In football it is so important for there to be someone leading the way for the guy carrying the ball.
He takes on would-be tacklers and gives the running back a bit more time and space to run. That lead-blocker I liken to prayer. One of the encouragements of the Apostle Paul is, “Worry about nothing but rather pray about everything with thanksgiving being involved in those prayers.” (Phil 4:4ff) Having that attitude, that practice be our lead-attitude or lead-practice will translate into yards gained and progress down the field. As we continue our lives journey in this 2021 year, lift your thoughts, needs, desires directly to God with the assurance that he hears you and cares for you and will help you.
