Local Artist Christine Velez-Stone
Christine holds a degree in Visual Arts from Berkshire Community College in Massachusetts and went on to study art and design at La Academia Superior de Artes located in Medellin, Colombia, S.A. This led to work as a designer and painter of murals, trompe l’oeil, faux finishes and set design for theater groups. Christine has also taught art to children in various after school settings.
Her award-winning acrylic paintings have been in art shows and exhibits throughout Florida. She creates big, bright, bold paintings of happy, carefree events and places. Let the color envelope you and take you to a place of serenity. Christine says “Life is a picnic…Enjoy!
